New Delhi: AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owasi said on Saturday that a spontaneous protest in Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack indicated the clear rejection of Pakistan by the local population. He advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to use it as an opportunity to “adopt Kashmiris” as the Center continues to “face Pakistan” on its participation in terrorist activities.“In fact, it should be used properly for the government, for Prime Minister Modi, for Home Minister Amit Shah. You should definitely face Pakistan, but you should also adopt Kashmiris.”When asked what they mean by “adopting Kashmiris”, Owasi said that the government should ensure the safety of human rights in the region. “They should gain their rights, Kashmiri students should not be attacked in other parts of the country,” he said.He said, “All this should be done. We should not lose this opportunity. Do not leave Kashmiris on their fate. Adopt them.”By calling Pakistan’s activities for “instability and communal division in India”, he said, “You can never trust Pakistan on Pakistan, as long as the Pakistani lamp state, Pakistani ISI, Pakistani Army aims to destabilize India.”Additionally, Owaisi is also a part of the seven-member all-party delegation, which has been determined to visit several major partners Border terrorism,“This is not about any party affiliation … we will have a more detailed meeting before leaving … It’s an important task.
