Jammu: On April 22, the tireless shelling by Pakistan across the LOC caused three more casualties from Wednesday night after India’s “focused, measured and non-esclery” response for the Pahalgam terrorist attack, after taking death up to 16 in more than 48 hours, the defense and foreign ministries said.Mortar and heavy artillery fire in Poonch, Uri, Kupwara, Baramulla, Mehar and Rajouri areas broke the Truses with international borders in Jammu and Kashmir on the 14th consecutive night of Pakistan.Three women and five children are among the victims. More than 50 people have been injured in continuous artillery and mortar shelling villages along with LoC.J&K Govt ordered the closure of all educational institutions in five border districts of Jammu province, including Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu, Samba and Kathua.The district heads were asked to identify safe places and make arrangements to vacate the people of the border villages. The Jammu Divisional Administration has already set up 24 × 7 control rooms in all 10 districts of the region.
