Actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab’s son Soraj Pancholi made her acting debut with the 2015 romantic action film ‘Hero’. He later appeared with Megha Akash in the 2019 action drama ‘Satellite Shankar’. Recently, in his first podcast after being acquitted after a 12 -year legal battle, Soraj expressed doubts about Bollywood and offered other opportunities and described himself as a newcomer for the industry.Doubt about Bollywood as ‘second chance industry’Speaking to the bubble of Bollywood, Soraj discussed the idea of other opportunities in Bollywood and expressed doubts that the industry actually serves as a “second chance industry”. He said that many actors have faced many failures, as many flops continue as 15 flops. He believes that in life, whether it is the second, third, fourth or fifth occasion, the film industry is just a part of the big picture, and life itself presents many opportunities in different forms.Facing and motivated stigmaFacing his stigma after his legal battle, Soraj admitted that such a decision is unavoidable and will always remain. However, he sees it as a driving force, pushing him to work hard twice as before. He shared, “I really have to perform and distribute the more twice as much as I could before. And in a way, it’s good, because it has been kept very inspired by me. I really want to prove everyone wrong.” Accepting that he still has a lot to learn about his craft, Soraj hopes that with some more films, he will reach a strong and successful stage in both his personal and business life.Start fresh: Mentality of a newcomerSoraj described himself as a newcomer, realizing that he is starting fresh again. He emphasized that he has taken care of his mind, body, soul and energy to prepare himself for this new beginning. For him, meditation meant to go to the gym and it was sweating after weight training, boxing and a strict diet, which served as its own way to relieve stress. He recommended this approach to anyone who experiences anxiety, stress, sleep nights, or depression, explaining that sweating helps not only to release calories but also stress. They believe that this routine reduces anxiety. Additionally, Soraj mentioned that he continues to pray internal, often chanting “Har Har Mahadev” as a source of internal strength and calm.
