Mysuru: Sabbana Ayyappan (70), The first non-crop scientist for the head of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Was found dead in the Kaveri River near Srirangpatna in Mandya, about 20 km away MysoreOn Saturday. His two -wheelers were found standing near the river.Ayyappan leaves a wife, two daughters and sons -in -law behind. He went missing on 7 May. On 8 May, a report of a missing person was lodged at Vidyaranipuram police station in Mysuru.Masuru City Police Commissioner Seema Latakar said an investigation was going on to determine the cause behind the death.Based on the CCTV footage, the police had discovered the location of Ayyappan for Srirangpatn and a discovery was made at all meditation centers in the region, given their penchers for meditation. According to the police, Ayyappan had reached Srirangapatna on his two -wheeler.
