Operation Sindoor: China gave Pakistan Air Defense, Satellite Support, Report says

Army’s air defense systems played an important role in removing Pakistan’s misunderstandings

China provided important military and satellite assistance to Pakistan after launching India’s Operation Sindor on 7 May, Bloomberg described the Indian Defense Research Group’s findings. This support involves Pakistan to reorganize its radar and air defense systems and help adjust satellite coverage on India, suggesting that Beijing’s involvement was more wider than the report in the beginning. Bloomberg quoted Ashok Kumar, Director General of Center for Joint Warfare Studies, New Delhi, “It helped him re -prepare his air defense radar so that whatever we do by air is known for him.”Kumar revealed that China assisted Pakistan in optimizing its defense systems to better detect the movements of the army and military deployment after launching India’s Operation Sindor. The struggle increased after a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, which claimed the lives of 26 citizens. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May, in which major terrorist establishments were targeted in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). Subsequently, Pakistan retaliated with a series of missiles and drone attacks in various regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana. However, the armed forces successfully stopped and neutralized these attacks.During the operation, the forces demonstrated better strategic abilities by effectively neutralizing the important Pakistani military and terrorist infrastructure. The forces successfully exceeded Chinese-made defense systems, including the headquarters-9 air defense system, proved to be ineffective against the army’s missile strike, especially involving Brahmos missiles.
