  • Shawai Nallah Camp, Muzaffarabad (POK): In 2024, Sonamarg, a training facility associated with attacks in Gulmarg, and recently Pahalgam attacks.
  • Muridke (Pakistan): A notorious camp where criminals, David Headley and Ajmal Kasab received training in 2008 Mumbai attacks.
  • Sarjal Camp, Sialkot (Pakistan): Located at a distance of 6 km inside Pakistan, the camp trained the terrorists involved in the murder of four J&K police personnel.
  • Markaz ahle Hadith, Barnala (Bhimber, Pok): An important center for weapons, IED, and forest survival training.
  • Markaz abbas, kotli (pok): Located 13 km from LoC, it specialized the camp in training ‘Fidin’ suicidal attackers.
  • Mehmoon Zoya Camp, Sialkot (Pakistan): A major Hizbul Mujahideen camp and a major control center for terrorism in the Kathua-Jamu area, Pathankot Air Force, was also implicated in the base attack.
  • Marz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur (Pakistan): Headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed.
  • Syedana Bilal Camp, Muzaffarabad (POK): A Gem staging area is serving as a weapon depot, explosive storage and forest training center.
  • Muskar Rahil Shahid Gulappur Camp, Kotli (POK): Located at a distance of 30 km from LoC, this late camp was connected to the Poonach attack in 2023 and the pilgrimage bus attack in 2024.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh emphasized the strategic argument behind ‘Operation Sindoor’. He said, “Nine terrorist camps were targeted and destroyed” in direct vengeance for the Pahalgam attack, he said. He threw light on the broad terrorist infrastructure created by Pakistan for three decades, including 21 recruitment and launch pad centers.Wing Commander Singh confirmed, “The goals for Operation Sindoor were based on reliable intelligence inputs and locations, which were chosen to avoid loss of civil infrastructure and loss of civil life.”The armed forces employed an array of weapons, including scalp cruise missiles, hamar accurate-guided bombs and advanced loving mutations.
