Pop star Katy Perry on Monday became one of the few citizens traveling in the spacecraft of Blue Origin. In a post on X after its return, Perry wrote, “There is no place like a house,” with a heart and an earth emoji, returning, indicating her relief and gratitude.
Earlier, he described the journey as “emotional”, saying that it was “the second to be a mam.” During a short journey, he also sang “What a Wonderful World”, a moment he carried forward.
He also said that it was not just a physical journey, but a personal, who tells him how much love he had to give – and how much he is surrounded by it.
Perry returned safely to Earth after about 10 minutes of sub-orbital flight, which took her more than 100 kilometers above the planet’s surface.
It was the 11th Human Spaceflight of Blue Origin and its first All-women crew mission. The crew briefly experienced weightlessness, as they had crossed the Kármán line to the internationally recognized range of space.
Perry was included by journalist GAIL King, Jeff Bezos’ fiancé Lauren Schez, East-Nasa rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights advocate Amanda Guayen and filmmaker Kerian Flynn.
