New Delhi: Senior Advocate Dayan KrishnanWho was leading the proceedings for extradition of 26/11 co-assigned David Coleman HeadleyThe NIA will be led by the prosecution team which will make a water -tight case against Tavavur Rana. Sources said Krishnan would be assisted by a team including Special Prosecutor Narnder Mann, an experienced criminal lawyer who had previously represented the CBI in Delhi HC.
Krishnan, sources said, “He also played an important role in Rana’s extradition proceedings and his team presented an irrefutable evidence to the US judiciary, concluding Rana’s dismissal of all arguments and appeals.” Krishnan was working closely with the NIA when the extradition process started in 2019-20. Sources said that she and her team also joined the US in the US to present the US case, saying that she was assisting the team’s informal ability due to US laws.
An NIA official said, “He played an important role in separating crimes to establish that India’s case was different.”
In 2012, Krishnan was appointed as Special Public Prosecutor by the Delhi Police for the case in the case of sabahya gang-rape. He voluntarily freed the cost to lead the team, with an investigator on Thursday.
“After the crime, I felt that I was an outstanding duties for the society. I certainly do not earn money when I discharge my duty for the society,” he told TOI to TOI after being sentenced to death.
“He (Krishnan) is an alumnus in the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru, with a career with a career in about three decades. He has worked on many high-profile matters, including 2001 Parliament attacks, Cauvery River water disputes, telecom cases, Goa child abus scandals, Goa child abuses scandals, Night Katra case”
