Called first twice but not replied
According to ANI, according to officials, Kamra was called twice before, but failed to appear for questioning. Police sources confirmed, “The Mumbai Police has issued a third notice to Kunal Kamra to appear on 5 April.

The comedian is currently facing several complaints filed against him for allegedly making fun of Ekath Shinde. The Mumbai Police has started an investigation into its comment and is also reviewing whether Kamra has made similar satirical statements about other politicians, actors or players in the past. If such examples are found, further legal action can be taken.
Kamra is not directly associated with the police
Kamra’s lawyers have allegedly in touch with the authorities, but the comedians themselves are not directly associated with the police. Three separate cases have been registered against him at Khar police station. One of the complaints was recorded by the Mayor of Jalgaon, while the other two came from a businessman and a hotelier in Nashik.

What’s the issue?
The controversy rose after Kamra’s joking with “traitor” (traitor), which was allegedly for the purpose of Eknath Shinde, trigger strong reactions from political leaders who demanded action against him.
Meanwhile, the Madras High Court has granted the Kamra interim anticipated bail in relation to several re -re -reasons against him. Justice Sundar Mohan provided relief till 7 April, stating that Kamra should not be arrested until then.
What next?
Kamra had approached the Madras High Court citing the dangers received since his controversial comments. However, the Mumbai Police continued its investigation, and their upcoming presence on 5 April is important in determining the next syllabus of legal action.
