Mimoh Chakraborty remembered while receiving the support of Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan after his first film: ‘I felt that my life is over’.

The theater was packed, and when the teaser was played for Jimmy, there was silence for a few seconds – then clap, whistle and cheers. He felt like a star at the age of 24. But when Jimmy released, everything changed. The phone stopped ringing, the check bounced, and within hours, his dreams crashed. He felt that his life was over and did not get out of his house for a year.

Mimoh Chakraborty shared that Salman Khan once invited him to raise his spirits on the sets of Sultan. He said that Salman called his mother and asked her to send Mimoh. Describing Salman’s presence as a big life, Mimoh said that he spent the day with him. At one point, Salman pointed to him and said to an assistant director, “You are struggling with your work, but look at him – he does not even have a chance to struggle.” They got stuck with the words Mimoh. Salman encouraged him to be strong, promising that an opportunity would come and he would support him.
