This victory proved to be important for Sunrisers Hyderabad as it ended the streak of four matches. The team successfully followed the target, reaching 247–2 in 18.3 overs.

The victory marked the second win of Hyderabad season, which was coming against Rajasthan Royals in his initial game last month.
