Congress MLA JMH Hassan Maulana Condemned the Governor’s comments strongly, called him deeply objectionable and accused him of echoing the rhetoric of the RSS and BJP. He said that such statements were unfair and disqualified of the constitutional situation organized by Ravi.
“The Governor is occupying one of the highest positions in the country, but he is speaking like a religious leader … he has become a promotional master of the RSS and BJP. See, it is not the way that the Governor can work.” The MLA told Annie.
He said, “What TN Governor is doing is very condemnable, he is acting like the RSS face in Tamil Nadu and spreading his ideology. The situation he holds is a constitutional post, so he will have to be neutral,” he said.
The Congress leader also stated that Governor Ravi had earlier faced fast criticism from the Supreme Court, which he had noted, a historic verdict against the Governor to act on ten bills passed by the state assembly.
In a historic judgment on Saturday, the Supreme Court approved ten bills of the state which were held without the consent of the Governor. Governor Ravi burnt him for the idea of ​​the President. The court took a clear deadline to take a step forward – to take action on such bills for the Governor and the President in a month for three months.
