Virat Kohli taunted KL Rahul with ‘Kanta Move’ after his latest IPL win – “This is my ground”.

Virat Kohli, the ‘Raja’ of cricket, rebuilt his ‘Kantara’ festival and taunted KL Rahul, pointing to ‘This land is mine,’ Royal Challengers Bangalore won against Delhi capitals At Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

What happened?

Earlier this month, KL Rahul took ‘Kantara’ step after his team won against Kohli’s team in Bengaluru to show his victory. After the festival, Rahul said, “This is a special place for me. This festival was one of my favorite films, Kantara. So, yes, just a small reminder that this land, this turf, this is the house where I have grown up, and it is mine.”
In response, Kohli pointed to ‘Virat Kohli Mandap’ and reached Rahul and pointed a similar trick. Both friends torn into laughter and hugged each other.

Sensational ‘Kantara’

The ‘Kantara Move’ is when the players draw a circle with the bat and fill their stomachs, claiming the land after the victory. The move is inspired by Rish Shetty’s 2022 film ‘Kantara’.
In 2022, ‘Kantara’ came as a roaring film, which quickly became a fan favorite as well as critics. With the right mix of culture, traditions, mystery and imagination, ‘Kantara’ is appreciated beyond India’s borders. The action-thriller is about a greed for the ground when a person who lived away from traditions due to an event fights for ancestral land that was taken away by government officials to end ‘unscientific rituals’. ‘Whose land is really?’ The film sets up to become a cinematic work.
The actors of the film include Rasha Shetty Shiva, Sapthami Gowda as Leela, Kishore as Murali, Mansi Sudhir as Kamla, Devendra Suturu as Achuth Kumar, Swaraj as Swaraj, Vinay Bidappa as King, and many more.
