Lebanon says two injured soldiers in Israeli strike

Beirut: Lebanon said two people, including a soldier, were injured in an Israeli strike in the south of the country on Sunday, where the army is deploying after a ceasefire between Israel and Hizbullah. An army statement said, “A soldier was moderately injured due to the target of an Israeli enemy of a vehicle … Beat Yahun at the checkpoint” in Bint Jebil district, in a state statement.Beit Yahun is about eight kilometers (about five mi) beyond the border. The Health Ministry said two people, including a soldier, were injured in the strike, stating that “Israeli enemy drone” was launched and a vehicle was targeted. The Israeli army did not immediately comment on the reported strike.Israel raided his neighbor despite the November Trus, demanding a two-month all-out war with Hizbullah terrorists to stop more than a year of enmity.Lebanon reported four deadly attacks in the south this week, in which Israel said it targeted Hizbullah operators.Under the ceasefire, Iran -backed Hizbullah had to pull back its fighters to the north of the Litani River of Lebanon and end any remaining military infrastructure in its south.Israel was to withdraw all its armies from Lebanon, but it has placed soldiers in five areas which it considers it “strategic”.The Lebanese army is deploying to the south as the Israeli army has been withdrawn and Hizbullah is ending the infrastructure. The Trus was based on the proposal of a United Nations Security Council, stating that Lebanese soldiers and United Nations Peaceful Sainiks should be the only force in the South Lebanon, and call for the disarmament of all non-state groups.Last month, President Joseph AON stated that the army was deployed in more than 85 percent of the south, and that the only obstacle for complete control in the Frontier region was “occupied five border positions of Israel”.Furthermore, in April, the Lebanon’s army said that three personnel were killed once in the explosion in the south, once another soldier died after the explosion because the force was destroying mines in a tunnel.
