Bhopal: In a major development, Dr. N john camam – At the center of a growing medical scam in Madhya Pradesh – it has been allegedly detained from Uttar Pradesh.
His detention is ahead of a planned visit by a team in Damoh district by a team of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), where the doctor allegedly performed several high -risk heart surgery, resulting in several patients deaths.
After the dispute, there was a dispute that Dr. Cam, who allegedly performed 15 heart surgery between December 2024 and February 2025, is associated with the death of at least seven patients during these processes or shortly after. Dr. Cam was allegedly staying in a hotel room for the previous month, causing disappearance between suspicion and public resentment. Their detention investigation is a significant turn, which has attracted national attention. NHRC member Priyank Kannungo confirmed that the Commission is closely monitoring the situation and a team could visit Damoh to assess the conditions in the hospital on Monday.
District President of Child Welfare Committee Deepak Tiwari raised concerns about discrepancies in the doctor’s identity and qualification. Tiwari claimed that many patients who suspected the credibility of the doctor, selected and survived for treatment in other hospitals.
