Veteran actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan has approached the Karnataka High Court, seeking immediate legal intervention to ensure the release of its upcoming film ‘Thug Life’ in the state. The move banned the release of the film, citing political and cultural backlash on the recent comments of Kamal Haasan on the origin of Kannada language by the Karnataka Film of Commerce (KFCC).
