The type of radiation inside the feature, mainly alpha particles, are manageable with proper radiation safety measures,” he said in his statement.Groxy revealed that the Israeli strike destroyed the above ground section of the pilot fuel enrichment plant, enricting uranium to 60 percent U-235. The attack also damaged the electrical infrastructure, including both the main and emergency power systems. Although the underground cascade hall appears unpublished, the loss of electrical may affect the inner centrifuge.Iran informed the agency that only the Natanz site was directly hit, including fuel enrichment plant and pilot fuel enrichment plant. However, Iran reported nearby attacks at the Fordo Fuel Fuel Promotion Plant and Esfahan Complex, which has several other nuclear facilities.Grosi stated that the IAEA is in constant contact with Iran’s Atomic Regulatory Authority, to assess the status monitoring and damage, Griecy said. A special task force has been set up to monitor development and update the United Nations Security Council as required.
