New Delhi: Yuzvendra Chahal performed a magic for age, taking a surprising hat-trick to derail the Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) innings, while Skipar Shreyas Iyer’s Nock Guided Punjab Kings (PBK) ended the hopes of Chennai for Chennai on Wednesday to win an exciting four-world.
First sent to bat, CSK Sam Curan set well for a large scale after scoring 88 runs in 47 balls.
The left -handed batsman hit nine fours and four sixes, which removed the innings after the initial wickets. Dewald Brevis pasted 32, and MS Dhoni’s brief cameo (11 runs 4) made fireworks late. At 177/5 in the 18th over, CSK was eyeing 200+.

Khalil Ahmed and Matheesha Pathirana tried to stage a late fightback with two wickets, but CSK proved to be inadequate after Chahal’s loss-limiting magic.
PBK is now in second place on the table with 13 points, while CSK is stuck downwards, struggling with just two wins in 11 matches.
