New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals are once again without their regular captain Sanju Samson as they face Mumbai Indians at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday.
Samson, who is out with a side strain, is still not match-fit, and head coach Rahul Dravid confirmed that the team was closely monitoring his situation.
Speaking in front of the game, Dravid explained, “Sanju is getting well well, but the side strain can be difficult. We do not want to return it and risk long -term damage. We are taking it in a day a day and will decide how he reacts.”

Samson has already remembered three consecutive matches, including Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans.
In his absence, Ryan is leading the Parag side and still won the toss, selected to bowl first.
Parag said that the team is expected to use potential dew in the game later.
“We have kept things simple. Rahul Sir’s message is to take a game at a time and play with freedom,” he said.
Parag also confirmed some forced changes: Vanindu Hasranga is out with a swallow and Sandeep Sharma is nursing a broken finger. Kumar Karthikeya and Akash Madhwal come to XI.

The absence of Sanju Samson is clearly felt, especially entering an important phase of the tournament with RR. Their leadership, quiet appearance and middle-order batting are important for the balance of Royals. However, franchise is taking care of haste, taking into account its long -term fitness.
Youngsters like Vaibhav Suryavanshi have experienced the Joffra Archer Returning and with experienced players, Rajasthan Royals are expecting to maintain momentum even without their regular captain.
As fans eagerly wait for Samson’s return, Royals proceed under the leadership of Parag, hoping to keep their playoff dreams alive.
