New Delhi: After consultation with the government, security agencies, and all major stakeholders, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to resume the remaining Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 from May 17. All matches will be played in six designated places.On the season 17 May, M. of Bengaluru. The Chinnaswamy Stadium will resume, in which Royal Challengers Bangalore will have to face Kolkata Knight Riders. The tournament was suspended for a week after across the border tension between India and Pakistan, during which Pakistan launched missiles and drone attacks that were successfully intercepted by the Indian forces.As part of the revised schedule, there will be no match in Mohali or Dharmasala. The stability of Punjab Kings against Mumbai Indians, which was previously transferred to Ahmedabad, will now be on May 26 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.The final of IPL 2025 will be played on June 3, with the playoffs on 29 May. The BCCI said in its release on Monday, “A total of 17 matches will be played at six places, which will start from May 17, 2025, and will conclude in the final on June 3, 2025. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays.”As per the update plan, the qualifier will be played on 1 29 May, followed by the eliminator on 30 May. The qualifier 2 is scheduled for 1 June, with the final held on 3 June.
