IPL 2025: New low for MS Dhoni & Co. | Cricket news

Chennai: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Ajinkya Rahane has cried himself for a spin-friendly pitch at his home ground, for a spin-friendly pitch at the Eden Garden in Kolkata. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has not yet compelled and naturally, the results have not been spectacular. However, on Friday, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Home Ground, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Varun Chakraborty’s KKR’s Spin-Trayo, Sunil Narin and Moin Ali as well as Pesmen Harshit Rana, who is very good with his cutters, which is a notes with the having havor.
CSK was rejected for 103/9 – his lowest in Chepack – the top 109 against Mi in 2019. The KKR batsmen, however, showed that there were no demons in the pitch. A powerful attack led by Narin (44 runs in 18 balls) and his initial 46 -run partnership in 25 balls with Quinton de Kock ended any expectation of CSK Fightback.

KKR registered an eight-wicket victory in 10.1 overs, which increased his net run-rate significantly, while CSK now has no place to hide.
The game was installed with excellent bowling and a combination of some tyrannical batting by CSK batsmen, most of them well lasting their chief. With a defeat in five consecutive matches, CSK’s famous strategy of playing with experienced players, who has already played his best cricket, is really unpublished. But then, it takes nothing away from KKR.
Visitors had a well -considered plan and Captain Rahane chose to bowl, even though CSK chased four matches. Apparently, he believed that his bowlers were to work on a pitch where the ball was stopping and turning.

Rahane introduced Moin (1/20) in the powerplay with his off-spin and was in his first two overs that the dye was inserted. His second over was a young woman when she had a wicket of Devon Conway, who was missing in his attempt to legs before one leg.
Pesmen Harshit used his speed change to inspire a false shot from Rachin Rabindra and with the score 16/2 in 4.1 overs, CSK’s innings was already in Doldrum. From there, it was a story of Varun (2/22) and Narin (3/13), which was stifting the middle-order who looked cloudy against his convict.
He hit the right length, the ball was just found to turn a little bit because the CSK batsmen failed to read them with their own hands. The choice of Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tripathi, Ravindra Jadeja and ‘Impact Sub’ Deepak Hooda were unable to attack rivals as the wickets fell.

But the biggest disappointment was the ‘new captain’ MS Dhoni. Batting at number 9, he missed one fast with Narin and caught a plumb in front. He asked for a review, it lasted for a long time, fans hoped and prayed for a hint or gallop with the bat, but there was no one there.
At the other end, Shivam Dubey was stranded at 31, left unbeaten, and helped the CSK Limp in the back of the 100-also. In this process, they pulled their hamstring and if the injury deteriorates, CSK is actually looking at the more foggy days.
