Former India cricketer Akash Chopra has reported what he sees as incompatibility in dealing with BCCI players, which compared to Punjab King’s captain Shreyas Iyer with the celebration of Virat Kohli’s aggressive celebration with Lucknow Super Giants Bowler Digwesh Rathi’s notebook.
The incident occurred after a seven -wicket win by Royal Challengers Bangalore against Punjab Kings in Chandigarh, where Kohli scored the fourth half -century of the season. After the winning run, Kohli was directed by Iyer, which went viral on social media.

Digwesh Rathi faced punishment on two different occasions for his notebook festival. After dismissing PBKS opener Priyash Arya, he received 25 percent fine for his first crime and a demerit point on 1 April. After rejecting Naman Dhir of Mumbai Indians, his second crime, 50 percent fine and two more demerit marks were resulted in as a result.
“My eyes were caught that Digwesh Rathi had a ‘notebook’ celebration. He did it once and imposed a fine. He imposed a second time and imposed a fine. He fined for the third time, saying that he was not earning as much as he was defeated in the fine. So he started writing something on the ground.”

Chopra also mentioned a previous incident, including MS Dhoni, which was fined 50 percent of the match fee and arguing with the umpires, violating IPL Code of Conduct,
“I remember MS Dhoni was once fined 50 percent of his match fee as he had entered the ground. He should not have gone. 50 percent of his match fee was cut immediately. It could have been more than that, but there was some action. However, it has not happened in Virat Kohli’s case.”
