New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs. Gujarat Titans (GT) The IPL 2025 Clash caught fans by a moment of concern, when star batter Virat Kohli injured his finger while fielding on deep mid-cane.
The incident occurred in the 12th over of the chase of Titans in Gujarat when Sai Sudhran delivered Krunal Pandya with a brutal force.
Kohli attempted to stop the ball, but strangely skid and hit his right hand before rolling the border.
As soon as the ball went away, Kohli immediately grabbed his injured finger and fell on his knees. The stadium fell into momentary silence with RCB’s medical staff running in the grounds.
After a quick on-field evaluation, Kohli was able to continue, but he looked uncomfortable, flexing his fingers often.
While the boundary of the knock is not clear, fans will expect that this does not affect their performance in the remaining part of the tournament.

Mohammad Siraj (3/19) saw GT’s attack, ending RCB’s top order as it increased to 42/4 in 6.2 overs towards the house.
However, Liam Livingstone (40 to 54), Jitesh Sharma (33 21 runs), and Tim David (32 runs 18) made an enthusiastic comeback, directed by RCB to a competitor 169/8. Livingstone’s late Blitz, including three sixes from Rashid Khan in an over, proved to be important in giving RCB a respectable total.
Kohli’s injury may be a major blow, with RCB already dealing with an inconsistent season.
