A source revealed the mid-day that the patch shoot for ‘War 2’ was organized using body doubles and junior artists, while Hrithik continued his recovery. He is undergoing regular movement training and physiotherapy. The actor is expected to resume filming by the end of April. Medical clearance for the same is still pending. Meanwhile, director Mukherjee is reorganized the program around Hrithik’s recovery and subsequent downtime to finalize post-production and refine the upcoming sequences.
Closing and release plans
According to a source, the filmmakers are happy to complete ‘War 2’ by May. Roshan’s dance scenes will start only once again when they have achieved full fitness.
Hrithik’s views on the film
During an incident recently in Atlanta, Georgia, Hrithik revealed that ‘War 2’ is close to completion, with only one final song, JR NTR starring, is left for shooting. Talking about the film, the actor said, “Bohot Dar Raha was the main ki Part 2 Kaisi Hogi (I was very afraid of how the sequel would come out. 1. So best wishes me.”

The much awaited sequel of the 2019 film ‘War’ ‘War 2’, will be released in theaters on August 14, 2025.
