Madurai: Years after his political face-to-face and estrangement, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin visited his elder brother and former Union Minister MK Alagiri in TVS Nagar in Madurai on Saturday night, soon after concluding his road show in the city.Sources said Alagiri recently invited Stalin to his house. Accepting the invitation, the DMK supremo visited the separate house of a separate house on Saturday at 10 am on Saturday after several years, and had dinner with his brother and his family.The meeting was a family matter as no minister went to Alpiri’s house with Stalin. However, a large number of supporters of Alagiri gathered in front of their house. He welcomed the Chief Minister with a warm welcome and presented him with Shawls and A ‘Sapter’ (Septer).This is the second time Stalin has met his brother Alpi for a long time. He had earlier met his brother in 2024, while his nephew visited Dayanidhi, who was treating the Christian Medical College in Vellore.In 2014, the late DMK chief M Karunanidhi expelled elder son Alagiri from primary membership to criticize the party and its members. In December 2024, nine Alagiri supporters expelled from the DMK in 2014, as well as the former Union Minister wrote a letter to Stalin, apologizing and requested to take him back to the party.
