When Ranbir Kapoor opened her close bond with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the age of 15: ‘She will always be the girl who was hanging with me on my father’s set’

The 2016 musical romantic drama ‘Ae Dil Hai Mukkil’ included Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles, and the film’s intimate statement echoed with many people. However, Ranbir And Aishwarya’s on-screen pairing showbiz stood out as one of the most discussed topics.
During an old interview with Times of India, Ranbir opened his bond with Aishwarya.
The ‘cattle’ actor talked about meeting Aishwarya on the set of a film directed by his father, Rishi Kapoor. It was for the 1999 film Aa Ab Lut Chain, directed by Rishi, in which Aishwarya played the lead roles with Akshaye Khanna and Rajesh Khanna.
Ranbir shared that he had a special relationship with the ‘Iruvar’ actress who treated her as a colleague. “I knew Aishwarya since I was a child, because I was a help in my father’s film and now Lut Chale. I was only 15 years old in and class X, but Aishwarya and I made a friendship.
He revealed that even after years, Aishwarya’s perception remained unchanged, sharing screen space with him in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mukkil’. He said, “Still, she is still the same as she was then. Nothing has changed about her. Apart from her beauty and the achievements that the world already knows, for me, she will always be the girl who will hang with me on my father’s set,” she said.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in the box office hit ‘Animal’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Wanga, and will soon start working on his sequel, ‘Animal Park’. He is currently ready for the release of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ with Sile Palwari and Yash. He will also start shooting for ‘Love and War’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in which he will share screen space with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponyin Selvan 2’.
