‘I apologize for genocide’: 1971 liberation by Pak forces from Bangladesh to Pakistan on Mukti War crime

Bangladesh on Thursday called upon Pakistan to issue a formal apology for the massacre by its army during the 1971 liberation war. It also asked the neighboring nation to address several outstanding bilateral matters, which aims to create a more solid basis for future relationships, Prothom Aloe.
In turn, Pakistan expressed a desire to discuss those issues.
Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Jasim Uddin said in the meeting, “Pakistan continued discussing these issues in future. The meeting today was considered a regular practice, but the final was held in 2010.”
