With both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma retiring from Test cricket, India’s Roadmap 2027 ICC enters a new phase in the Cricket World Cup. The legendary pair, which has served Indian cricket in formats for more than a decade, will now focus on the one-day international in the construction of the next 50 overs World Cup to be hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in October-November 2027.
