New Delhi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday raised his attack on Congress MP Gaurav gogoiClaiming that the children of the Congress leader are not Indian citizens. He also raised questions about Gogoi’s alleged visit to Pakistan.
“I have evidence that Gaurav Gogoi’s son and daughter are not an Indian citizen. We are investigating (Pakistan) there for 15 days. There is no tourist destination in Pakistan; it is only a terrorist adam,” Sarma told Annie.
The BJP leader further alleged, “It is 100 percent that he confirmed that he went there, but what he did in 15 days? Robert Vadra and Gaurav Gogoi are more concerned about Pakistan than in India.”
Sarma’s comments came a day later, when she created a secret post on X writing: “I say this with full responsibility – a minor children of a member of Parliament from Assam are no longer citizens of India. But this is just the beginning. A lot has been revealed so far.”
Earlier this week, Sarma questioned the status of citizenship of Gogoi’s family members. He is repeatedly targeting Gogoi, saying that he would release evidence of the alleged international visits of MPs in Pakistan and Nepal before September.
