HC Order CRPF Trouper brings back Pakistani woman from Attari for reunion with husband

Srinagar: Pakistan National Meenal Ahmed Khan was re -joined with her husband, CRPF tropper Munir Khan, this week after returning from Jammu after returning from Jammu after returning from the attic border checkpoint in Punjab’s moments this week on the J&K High Court orders.

He said, “Meenal’s long -term visa is under ‘deemed given’ category and on this basis, we filed a petition against his exile,” he said. “The court passed an interim order against his exile and returned from the attic on Wednesday. He was rescued at the last moment.”
The newlyweds were about to settle in the bus when tourists were attacked in Pahgam in a Pakistan -backed terrorist attack on 22 April.
Advocate Sharma cited an explanation from MHA that the order to cancel the visa to Pakistanis was not applicable to diplomatic and long -term visas.
He said, “Meenal was interviewed and a long -term visa was recommended before the exile practice began with the Pahalgam attack,” he said.
On whether an Islamic marriage was legally valid by an Kazi online, the lawyer said that the union government “recognized Meenal as” as the wife of Munir Khan “recognized the marriage by issuing a visa to Meenal.
While the High Court did not remain exile for Meenal, he said that he should be allowed to stay in Jammu until his visa status was clear. The case will be heard on 14 May.
The court said that to decide whether a long -term visa should be issued to Munir’s wife, it was also on the Union Government to note, keeping in mind that her short -term visa was over a month ago.
