With its release with War 2, all eyes are now on director Ayan Mukherjee, to see what his next big film will be. The director, who has a group of interesting films, has allegedly reshuffled its release schedule. According to the latest reports, Mukherjee is allegedly focusing on fantasy trillion Brahmastra for the much awaited reboot of the reputed action franchise, allegedly from fantasy Trillji Brahmastra. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Brahmstra’s sequel has killed a funding Snag, inspiring Ayan to prioritize wash 4.War 2 2, with the release of August 14, 2025, the director now expects a head directly in pre-production for washo 4, who will reportly be a reboot of franchise with all new characters. “While Ayan was apprehensive about back-to-back of large-scale action projects, he could not say Aditya Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor.”Ranbir is rumored to play the lead role in Dho 4, thus following John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan’s footsteps. Casting for other major roles including female leads, is said to be expected to start production in April 2026,. The film is temporarily set for 2027 dramatic release.While fans were eagerly awaited Brahmastra Part Two: Dev, TTE report, the sequel will now start production only in 2027, with the second and third installments shooting back-to-back, with two-parts of Nitesh Tiwari in the same style.Although the report indicated creative differences and potential budgetary issues, nothing has been officially confirmed.Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’. He also has ‘Ramayana Bhaag 2’ in the pipeline and the action film ‘Animal Park’.
