DJ Daniel, Texas Cancer-Service-Kishore, who was sworn in as an honorary secret service agent by US President Donald Trump, is now facing three new tumors. DJ was first diagnosed in 2018 and was given only five months to live. To honor his life -long dream, he was sworn in as an honorary secret service member during Donald Trump’s address to the Congress on 4 March. Speaking to Fox7 Austin, DJ’s father admitted that emotional tolls had been heavy. “It is thick, not a class that can teach you how to deal with it. You are hearing that your child has a bad illness,” he said. But he also said that DJ’s journey is more than only disease – it is about spreading kindness and unity.The White House also posted on X, shared the news. It wrote, “We are raising agent DJ Daniel in prayer after our father, Theodis, shared that DJ is now facing three new tumors. DJ is one of the strongest, most brave young men, and now 1,351 law enforcement agencies have been sworn in. Agent is a true legend, you are a true legend.” Daniel was detected brain cancer in 2018 and was given only five months to live. He has visited law enforcement agencies across the country in the last six years, earned honorary recognition from many police departments who have adopted them as their own. The DJ grew up seeing his father, who served in the army, interacted with people in uniform. Seeing those moments closely, a strong impression was left on it. By the time he was 9 years old, he had developed a deep respect for law enforcement and decided that he wanted to follow a uniform path, dreaming a day.
Despite its position, the DJ is excited. In the recent oath-off ceremonies in Texas and Florida, he said, “On my 11th brain surgery, God told me that I was one of his angels … On my 12th, he gave me his wings.”
