‘Hamas agrees to Trus the proposal’; Israel rejected any such scheme

CAIRO: The Palestinian official said that on Monday, Hamas agreed to a proposal by American Special Envoy Steve Witchoff for the Gaza ceasefire, Washington had only to reject the proposal for an Israeli officer and says that no Israeli government could accept it.Vitkoff also rejected the notion that Hamas had accepted his proposal for a hostage deal and a ceasefire in Gaza, telling the Reuters that what he had seen was “completely unacceptable” and the proposal being discussed was not similar to him.The Palestinian officer, who is close to Hamas, told the Reuters that the proposal would look into the release of 10 hostages and the 70-day ceasefire and was obtained by Hamas through intermediaries. The source said, “The proposal includes the release of 10 living Israeli hostages and partial withdrawal from Gaza in two groups in exchange for a 70 -day ceasefire.” It also included the release of several Palestinian prisoners by Israel. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu later said that he “expects a lot” he would be able to release the development and hostage against Hamas on the subject of Israeli’s fight, “Today and if not today we will do tomorrow”.
