Government has banned China’s Global Times X handle to spread unacceptable claims on Indian armed forces

New Delhi: The Center on Wednesday banned the X handle operated by the Chinese state on spreading rejected claims on the Indian Army amidst increasing tension between India and Pakistan.The Indian Embassy in China strongly warned the media outlet to verify the facts before posting on social media.The embassy said in a post on X, “Dear Global Times, we will advise you to verify your facts and check your sources before excluding such disintegration.”In a follow -up post, the embassy said, “Many supporters are spreading baseless claims in the context of Pakistan handle #Operationsindoor, trying to mislead the public. When the media shares such information without verifying the sources, this responsibility and journalism reflects a serious mistake in morality.”The embassy comment came after the viral positions from Pakistani accounts and some media suggested that an Indian Rafael Jet was shot near Bahwalpur.The PIB Fact Check Team, however, marked such a viral image as misleading, given that it was from the 2021 accident, including MiG -21 in Moga district of Punjab. The PIB warned in its own post, “Beware of the old images shared by Pakistan Pro-Pakistan.”Earlier in the day, the Ministry of External Affairs also denied China’s claim on Arunachal Pradesh and strongly objected to its efforts to change the names of places in the state.In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs reiterated that China’s “creative nomenclature” would not change the undisputed reality that is Arunachal Pradesh and will always remain an integral and unqualified part of India.“We have noticed that China has been with its meaningless and prior -procurement to name places in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. According to our royal status, we clearly reject such efforts,” said.“Creative nomenclature will not change the undisputed reality of Arunachal Pradesh, which is an integral and disqualified part of India, and will always be an integral and an integral part.
