Prestigious Lords Cricket Ground Ready to host 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup final,
The tournament will start from June 12 next year. Apart from Lord’s, Oval, Old Trafford, Handingley, The Hampshire Bowl, Edgbaston and Bristol County Ground are also other places.
New Zealand will go as a defending champion in the 2026 tournament.
The extended 12-Team tournament will play 33 games in 24 days. Eight teams – hosts England, Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies – have already secured their spots for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Next year, four additional teams will join them through the qualifier set.
12 teams will be divided into two groups of six for group stage, followed by knockout rounds and finals.
The final has been scheduled for July 5, 2026. Lords hosted the 50 -over World Cup final in 2017, when England defeated India for the title.

ICC President J Shah described the confirmation of the places as a “decisive moment”.
He said, “The rich diversity of the United Kingdom has always shown emotional support for all teams, something that we recalled in previous events,” he said. “Sale-out at Lord’s in 2017 remains a milestone in the rise of women’s cricket World Cup final women’s game, and I cannot think of more fitting phase for the final.
“As we focus our focus on preparing for the tournament, we are excited by the promise of thrilling T20 action, which will not only shut fans here, but will also serve as a showcase for the return of cricket on the Olympic stage in Los Angeles 2028.”
