Pakistan violates the ceasefire with LoC, army killed during an encounter with terrorists. Bharat News

New Delhi: A junior commission officer (JCO) of the Indian Army was killed by a gun with militants during an infiltration attempt and was violated by Pakistan with a line of control in Akhnoor region of Jammu on Friday night, officials said.
The encounter took place in the Kerry Bhattal region, where the soldiers saw a group of heavy armed terrorists going near a stream in a forest area. When challenged, the intruders set fire, causing a terrible exchange. A JCO faced significant injuries in the struggle and later succumbed. Strengthens were deployed immediately, and currently a search operation is going on in the area.
It marks another major ceasefire violations since India and Pakistan, which confirms its commitment to the 2021 Loc Ceasefire Agreement.
The encounter with the terrorists took place two days after the brigade commander-level talks between the two sides in the Ponch district of Jammu and Kashmir, which was aimed at managing border tension and preventing such incidents.

Meanwhile, anti-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir continue elsewhere, in which three terrorists have been killed in Kishtwar district.
The Army’s White Knight Corps shared that a joint “search and destroyed” mission with Jammu and Kashmir Police was launched on 9 April in Kishtwar’s Chhatru forest based on intelligence inputs. That evening a terrorist was killed in an early shelling.
A follow -up update of the corps states: “Despite the bad and bad weather, in the ongoing operation in Chhatru, the installment, two more Pakistani terrorists have been abolished. A large amount of shops like war have been fixed, including an AK and an M4 rifle.”
Earlier this year, in a similar incident, two army personnel, including a captain, were killed and another injured when terrorists triggered an instantaneous explosive equipment (IED) in the same region on 11 February.
The Indian Army has taken up a strong opposition with the Pakistani side over the attempts to formally cross the terror and violation of the ceasefire.
A few days before this latest encounter, on April 5, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot and killed a Pakistani intruder along with the international border in the RS Pura sector, after which a flag meeting was held with Pakistan Rangers.
