Genelia Deshmukh questioned the industry not to offer her roles, such as on Aamir Khan’s Sitare land: ‘He feels that I am married …’.
Genelia D’Souza, Sitaare is fully prepared to return to the big screen with Zameen Par, where she is in a role in front of Aamir Khan, which she calls one of the most meaningful of her career. Genelia said that other filmmakers can also take that approach and consider them for adequate roles.He said that the norms of the industry often affect casting decisions, suggesting that their marital status may assume that they do not need such roles. Genelia insisted that when the film production has developed, there is still a need to catch the mentality around casting. He believes that it is important for actors who actually fit character age and life phase, as young artists can miss subtle nuances. He hoped that the opportunity reflects more inclusive and diversity of real life.Interestingly, Genelia’s relationship with Aamir Khan Productions went back in 2008, when he starred with Imran Khan in a creed romantic comedy directed by his first film Jane Tu … or Jane Na, Abbas Tyrwala. Considering the casting in an interview with the screen recently, Aamir Khan jokingly said, “It was a long time ago. And now Imran is also quite my age (now Imran is almost my age),” Now adding a touch of humor in the reunion.Aamir admitted that the age gap between him and Genelia crossed his mind, but explained that in the cross -ground cross, both characters were depicted in early 40s. He said that despite being 60, the progress in VFX helps to bridge that gap on the screen. Aamir also revealed that casting was the idea of Genelia director RS Prasanna.In a special interview with the screen, director RS Prasanna shared that casting Genelia D’Souza was an easy option, especially looking at her immense popularity in the south, where she is from. He praised his lively energy and acting talent, saying that he is dear to regional industries. Prasanna said, “He has done all this – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and even Marathi,” Prasanna said, he gave him happiness to work with him.Meanwhile, Genelia D’Suza made her acting debut in 2003 with the Bollywood film Tujhe Mary Kasam.
