‘Each Russian promise ends with missiles’: Strike 18 after Zelancesi, including 9 children, in their hometown

According to Ukrainian officials, a Russian ballistic missile strike on Cryvy Rih on Friday killed 18 people, including nine children.
The attack took place in a residential area near the children’s playground and according to Olacsandra Vilkul, head of the city’s military administration, more than two dozen others were injured.
Krivi Rih, the home city of Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelansky, was deliberately targeted, the President claimed, accused Russia of disregarding the ceasefire agreements.
“These attacks may not be casual – Russians know what they are actually killing. They know that these are energy facilities that Russia promised themselves to the American side.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the strike, stating that “a restaurant in the city laid an accurate strike with a high-explosive missile” “where the structures and the commanders of Western trainers were meeting.”
The video wandering on social media featured a dead body on a road and a pile of smoke after the explosion; However, they are uneven.
Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Sargi Lisak also condemned the strike.
“Eighteen … how many people were killed by Russians when they launched a missile in Cryvi Rih. Nine of them had children,” Lisak said on Telegram.
He said, “This is the kind of pain you do not want on your worst enemy.” Lisak further confirmed that 61 people were injured in the attack, including 12 children.
President Zelancesi said the attack further was evidence that Russia was not interested in preventing its full scale attack, which started in February 2022.
“The only reason that it continues – Russia does not want a ceasefire, and we see it. The whole world sees it,” he said.
In his evening address, Zelancesi accused Russia of considering diplomacy as a “empty word”.
“A ceasefire could have reached still, and it is Putin that rejects it,” he said.
Internal Minister Ihor Climenco said that five apartment buildings were damaged in the missile strike.
Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly dismissed the proposal of a joint US-Ucne for an unconditional and full ceasefire in March. The Kremlin, meanwhile, has created any possible truste in the Black Sea contingent to lift some restrictions in the west.
US President Donald Trump has called for a quick end to the war since assuming office in January, but his administration has not yet secured a ceasefire despite negotiations with both sides.
US State Secretary Marco Rubio earlier said on Friday that the Trump invasion was “not going to fall into the trap of endless talks” with Russia.
Rubio said, “We will soon know, in a few weeks, not in months, Russia is serious about peace or not.”
