‘Due to increase in regional tension …’: American Embassy in Israel restrictions

The US embassy in Israel issues safety warnings for its employees amid growing tension in the region.

The US Embassy in Jerusalem on Thursday issued a fresh security warning, in which the tension between Israel and Iran was barred from traveling in the area. “Due to increased regional tension, America Government employees and their family members are banned from traveling outside Greater Tel Aviv (including Herzlia, Netanya and even Yehuda), Jerusalem and Beer Sheva regions, as long as the embassy said in a security warning.Security warning came after the Trump administration announced to bring back the number of personnel in the Middle East. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth allowed voluntary departure of military dependents in Northeast Africa, Middle East and parts of Central Asia. The State Department said that it has ordered the departure of all non -personnel of the US embassy in Baghdad, which is on both home and abroad, to protect Americans, based on its latest review and a commitment. The embassy was already on limited staffing, and the order would not affect a large number of personnel. In Thursday’s alert, the US embassy in Israel said that it reminds us of “American citizens’ constant needs of caution and an increase in personal security awareness – including to know the location of the nearest shelter in the state of red alert, including safety incidents, mortars, rockets, and missile fire, and unmanded aircraft system (UAS) Interactions, often without any war, often without any war”Trump confirmed the precautionary steps that are taking us. He said, “They (American personnel) are being taken out because it can be a dangerous place, and we will see what happens … we have given notice to go out,” he said. Trump, who earlier said that Israel or America can carry out aerial attacks targeting nuclear facilities. If the conversation failed, he gave a minimum-and-federal approach to reaching a deal with Iran, told the “Pod Force One” Podcast of New York Post that he was getting more trust about “a deal”.He said, “They are delayed, and I think it’s a shame. I am less confident than a few months ago. Something happened to them.”
