This comment comes at a time when Apple is aggressively expanding its manufacturing footprint in India. The company, along with its major suppliers, is transferring production from China, a step accelerated by epidemic disruption between Washington and Beijing and ongoing geopolitical stresses.During Qatar’s previous state visit, Trump recalled a conversation with Cook in which he criticized Apple’s growing investment in India.Trump said, “I had some problems with Tim Cook yesterday.
