Veteran actor Nana Patekar, who is known for his intensive screen appearance and fearless personality, once had a shocking acceptance about his past during an interview. While reflecting his journey, Nana admitted that he had not made his career in acting, his violent nature would have taken him to the underworld.
“People were scared of me. I was very violent. I didn’t talk much; I let Nana reveal during an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, saying that he is now light, he still reacts physically when trigger is triggered. He said, “If I did not become an actor, I would have been in the underworld. I am very serious about it,” he clearly said, offering a rare glimpse in my early life.
The actor also recalled a widely reported incident on the set of his film ‘Vanwas’, when he slapped a fan to take a selfie while shooting in Varanasi. Captured the camera, quickly went viral. Although Nana later apologized, the incident discussed his notorious nature.
