Chhawa Box Office Collection Day 48: Vicky Kaushal starrer earns only 52 lakh rupees as it gears for OTT release.

Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhava is near the end of his box office run. The film, which has been stopping for a bigger rupee for the last 7 weeks, saw a big dip in number as its collections fell under a mark of Rs 1 crore for the first time this week.
After killing a mark of Rs 590 crore in its seventh weekend, the film took a large dive in a number of numbers on Tuesday, which earned around Rs 52 lakh in theaters on its 48th day. According to Sacnilk.com, the total domestic net collection of the film brings about 594.88 crores.
Meanwhile, box office reports claim that the gross collection of the film has crossed a mark of Rs 700 crore, with a total total inch worldwide close to Rs 800 crore.
Despite a gradual decline in daily earnings, Chhawa has strengthened her position as one of the highest -grossing Indian films of 2025. It has also become the highest -grossing film of prominent actor Vicky, defeating ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.
As dramatically, fans may estimate the digital release of the film. Reports suggest that the chhava is slapped to the premiere on Netflix on 11 April 2025, allowing fans to experience the epic from the comfort of their homes. However, an official confirmation from the streaming platform is awaited.
The Chhava, directed by Laxman Utekar, features Vicky Kaushal in the title role, along with Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.
After a wave of controversy and the film is recently being convicted for the Nagupra violence, the promotion for the film has been kept minimum. The bottom trend has also been linked to the release of Salman Khan starrer Alexander, who hit the screen on 30 March.
On the work front, Vicky has gone to his next film Project, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, which will see him meeting again with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
