Addressing the Foreign Pakistanis Conference in Islamabad, the Pakistani General said that parents should tell their children the story of the creation of Pakistan so that “the story of Pakistan should never be forgotten.”
Munir said, “You have to tell your children the story of Pakistan so that they do not forget when our ancestors thought that we were different from Hindus in every possible aspect of life,” Munir said.
“Our religion is different, our customs are different, our traditions are different, our thoughts are different, our ambitions are different, this is the place where the foundation of two-nation theory was laid. We are two nations, we are not a nation,” he said.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan was also present during the speech of Munir, in which he further said, “… because of this, our ancestors fought continuously to build this country. Our ancestors, they have sacrificed a lot, and we have made a lot of sacrifice to build this country, and we know how to defend it.”
