Bengaluru came alive on Wednesday as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) returned home with their first IPL Trophy. Thousands of fans filled the roads, stood on the roofs, and gathered around the Vidhi Sauda and Chinnaswamy Stadium to see their favorite players – especially Virat Kohli, who are part of the team for 18 years. The RCB squad, led by Rajat Patidar, landed in the city around noon. He was welcomed at the airport by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar. After this, the team went to meet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the genre deal, where a small ceremony was held to honor his achievement.
