BJP’s opposition to worker’s suicide, Bangalore News demands name in FIR

Madikeri/Bangalore: BJP protested in Kushalnagar on Saturday, Kodagu DistrictDemand for two Congress mus Opposition party worker Vinay Somaiya should be nominated in the cedar involved in alleged suicide.
The protest increased in a stressful deadlock with the police, even Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accused the BJP of indulging in “politics” and Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar rejected a CID investigation for now.
Vijayendra was one of the BJP state president, MP Yadavvir Krishnadutt Chamraj Vadiar, former MP Pratap Simha, and former president KG Bopaiah, among the several senior officials detained by the police, as he attempted to siege to the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Kushalnagar.
This protest became chaotic, raising slogans against the police and the government along with a large number of BJP workers. The party demanded that Virajpet MLA and Madikeri MLA Mantar Gowda were allegedly posted in the WhatsApp group, before the death of suicide in Bengaluru on Friday, Ponnanna and Madikeri MLA Mantar Gowda.
Initially, his family refused to conduct his funeral until both MLAs were nominated in Cedar. He trusted after taking senior BJP officials into custody, and the crematorium was held in Gonimaruru village in Somwarpet.
Following the complaint of the deceased person’s elder brother Jeevan KS, a case was registered against Congress worker Thenira Mahina and others. However, both MLAs were not nominated in the FIR despite mentioned in the handwritten complaint.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah rejected the BJP’s demand. He said, “We cannot answer the BJP’s demands. BJP people are disappointed and they are saying such things. They are doing politics on death. BJP often does so,” he said.
Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar assured that the police would act according to the law. “The police department is investigating. Somaiya posted a detailed note on WhatsApp, and the police will analyze everything and take action,” he said. On the possibility of a CID investigation, he said, “This can be done if necessary, but currently, we do not need.”
Vijayendra had earlier alleged that the police stations were acting like Congress offices and accused the ruling party of molding their MLAs. “It is under the pressure and harassment of the MLA that our Kayakarta has committed suicide.
Let it take it at any time. We will wait until the authorities get permission from the Magistrate Court and the names of the MLAs in the FIR. If they do not do this, the police will be responsible for the things that may be. The police should not allow law and order situation to deteriorate under political pressure, “Vijayendra said.
