Bangkok officials ended the search operation in the skyscraper which collapsed after the earthquake

Bangkok: Thai officials officially terminated the search operation in the building under construction in the capital Bangkok on Tuesday, collapsing after a earthquake, killing dozens a month ago.On March 28, 7.7 magnitude earthquake is concentrated in Myanmar, more than 800 miles (1,200 km), at least 96 people died in Bangkok, mostly on site. More than 3,000 were killed in Myanmar.Officials said eighty-nine bodies have been recovered from the debris, while seven people are unaware of the site. He said that he would still continue to test hundreds of pieces of human remains to identify the missing people. The collapse raised questions about the enforcement of construction security and corruption. High-growing building, which meant the new office of the State Audit Office, was the only building that faced total collapse that day. Police said on Tuesday that they are still investigating and will continue to collect evidence from the collapse site by the end of this month. Officials are investigating several companies and individuals for any wrongdoing in relation to the collapse including the state -run Chinese contractor, China Railway No. 10 Engineering Group. The investigation has arrested its Chinese executive in Thailand, which has been identified as Zhang, and three Thai shareholders suspected of operation of business through the use of candidates. Foreigners can operate a business in Thailand, but it should be a joint venture with a Thai partner, and they may not own more than 49 percent to protect local competition. Another Thai-Chinese company, Shin’s Yuan Steel, also came under investigation on the quality of steel rods provided for the building. Industry minister Akanat Pramon said that two types of steel rods found at the fall site do not pass security standards and the yuan of Shin supplied both. The company has denied any wrongdoing.
