New Delhi: The harmony of hospitals has fallen significantly under Ayushman Bharat-PM Jaan Arogya Yojana, on an average of 2024 per month from 316 per month to 2025 per month from April.Data shared by the National Health Authority (NHA) on the dashboard of the scheme suggests that 443 hospitals under AB -PMJAY across India in four months – under 161 January, 187, 40 in February, 40 in March and 55 in April. In May, the latest update shows, 20 hospitals were reduced. Many healthcare associations suggest that low package rates and delayed payments are important reactions behind lukewarm reaction to government schemes from large corporate hospital ranges, especially from large corporate hospital ranges. However, a senior NHA official – AB -PMJAY’s implementation agency – said that imperialism is happening and some new harmony cannot be updated as they were migrating into a new system.

AB-PMJAY, which is available in all states/UTS, provides treatment of Rs 5 lakh, except West Bengal and in some cases, more, for the treatment of about 2,000 procedures per family, in which medical oncology (cancer treatment), emergency care, orthopedic and urology (kidney related diseases) are associated with specialty. The CEO of a top hospital series in the latest state Delhi to join the scheme told TOI that the package rates introduced for various processes under AB-PMJY were lower than their input cost. “We can join this scheme if the package rates increase,” he said. The Indian Medical Association has also emphasized the need to increase the package rates to make treatment more sustainable under the scheme. The IMA office-bearer said, “Rates should be increased to the least CGHS level.”Since 2018, 609 private hospitals have been dropped from the scheme, Minister of State for Health Pratapro Jadhav said in a written response to a Parliament question in March. “The reasons for voluntaries voluntarily involve only cohesion for the Kovid period, the hospitals were closed or non-functional, the changes in the hospital unit, the hospital transferred, the ongoing reconstruction or renewal, the non-availability of specialist doctors, the unavailability of specialist doctors, the voluntary withdrawal from the plan, not only for (shadow for sixthis).
