Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra and more: Top Stock on Brokers Radar for April 28

Morgan Stanley has a ‘more weight’ rating on Axis Bank with a target price of Rs 1,300. Analysts said that the bank’s earnings were under control with loan and deposits, and gross credit cost (pre-agricultural) was high.He said that both of them expected to a great extent. They also feel that the stock may be under close-term pressure, as the situation may continue for some more quarters before the quality of the asset improves.
Jefferies has a ‘buy’ rating with a target price of Rs 2,000 on SBI life. Analysts stated that during the January-March quarter, the price of new trade growth of 10% of SBI Life is positively assisted by better product mixture and word insurance attachment for Rs 1,700 on an annual basis. The growth of the premium (APE) of the life insurance was soft at 2% due to partially slow ulips and efforts to improve the mixture.
Goldman Sachs has a ‘buy’ rating on SBI card, with a target price of Rs 1,006. Analysts said that the pre-provision of SBI cards operating profit growth was as per 4% per annum. He also said that the credit costs of the company have finally shown improvement after watching continuous growth for the last five quarters. They expect further improvement from FY25 to FY26.
Citigroup has a ‘cell’ call on Tech Mahindra, with the target price of Rs 1,265. Analysts said IT Major gave a slower-march quarters with hope and revenue under the margin. He said that while the management is executing well, expectations are high.
HSBC has a ‘low’ call on Rollis India with a target price of Rs 210. Analysts said that the company recalled estimates in the segment during the Jan-Marks quarters, and domestic pricing pressure is a concern. The company’s business model revamp was commendable but gradual. And challenging circumstances remain for the company.
