In an interview with Fox News, Austin Metkaf’s father said, “My son has gone and he will never come home again. “This is a human. This person made a bad option and impressed both his family and my family – forever. It’s a very unfortunate thing. But I know what really happened. His brother was there, trying to save him. He died in his arms,” he said. “So if you were not there, please do not spread rumors.”

Austin Metkaf along with his twin brother Hunter went to a Texas Track Meet – both students of Fisco Memorial High School. When he reached the event, he found Anthony sitting in his post under the team’s tent. Hunter said that he did not know Anthony and Austin had asked him to leave because he was sitting in a wrong place. Hunter said that Anthony started getting aggressive and became careless in his words.
“Take me forward,” Anthony told him when he asked him to move.
In 30 second disagreement, Anthony rushed out to his backpack and brought a knife and stabbed Austin, while Hunter looked in shock. Austin died in Hunter’s arms, but he could not do anything to save him.
