Raipur: An additional SP was killed and two officials were injured in a Maoist IED blast in Konta area of Sukma, Buster on Monday.A brave medalist, 42 -year -old ASP Akash Rao Punje, was patrolling a leg in an area where the Maoists tortured vehicles last night when the IED explosion occurred. June 11 is his daughter’s birthday, and he promised to come home for the celebration.Giripunje is the third ASP-rank officer in Chhattisgarh, who was killed in a Maoist IED explosion in 2001 after Bhaskar Dewan in Narayanpur and Rajesh Pawar in 2011.
